• Fully guided by a qualified & experienced guide • Kit list & precise What3words location for parking and meeting provided on booking • Meet and greet in car park • Safety briefings and support throughout • Circular guided walk along the stunning South West Coast Path • Swim or dip at Penlee Point to suit you • Swim or dip at Cawsands Beach at end of walk • Breaks for lunch, snacks and hot drinks in stunning locations • Plenty of opportunity to take photos of your beautiful surrounding • Learn about the history of this fascinating area • Approximate walk distance – 9km • Approximate total time – 4-5 hours This circular route takes in some of the best coastal views of Devon and Cornwall and the opportunity for two swims, one at the secluded beach at Penlee Point and the other off Cawsand beach at the end of the walk. The walk itself is primarily on coastal path with only a short inland section. The views are stunning and stretch to Dartmoor, over Plymouth, to the Eddystone lighthouse, the Mewstone and along the Cornish coast including Whitsand Bay. We visit the fascinating grotto at Penlee point and the old chapel right on the top of Rame Head. Terrain - This walk follows the coastal path with uphill and downhill sections. It is mostly a good path but can be muddy in places. The access to the beach is over open ground, down some steps and easily over the rocks. Who am I? Everything I offer is run by me, Cathy. I am a Wild Swimmer and someone who loves being outdoors. I have been lucky enough to have worked professionally in the outdoors for my whole career so I have lots of experience and plenty of qualifications. Please note all walks are in remote areas so please expect some uneven ground, see each walk for more detail and if you'd like to have a chat to discuss before booking please do get in touch. You will be sent a kit list in your confirmation email, it is important you bring all the items on it. For more details see the FAQ page of the website. Payment and cancellations 1. Full payment must be made to confirm your place. 2. Cancellations can be made up to 10 day before the event, a small cancellation charge will apply to cover fees. 3. Cancellations made 10 days or less before the planned start date will not be eligible for a refund except in exceptional circumstances. Terms and conditions 1. All relevant medical conditions, allergies and details of medication taken must be disclosed at time of booking. 2. It is the responsibility of participants to ensure any medication required is carried at all times during the activity. 3. It is the responsibility of participants to inform the instructor of any changes to medication conditions, allergies or medication taken between the time of booking and the day of the activity. This must be done before the activity commences. 4. All participants must be free from the influence of drugs/alcohol at the time of commencing the activity and for the duration of the activity. Anyone suspected of being under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol at any time immediately before or during the activity will not be able to take part in the activity and will be responsible for their own safety from that point forward.
